Portland, Maine’s classic establishment continues to serve great food and portions.
Most appetizers were solid takes on popular dishes. The grilled octopus with Street & Co’s own sauce of parsley, oregano, capers, and olive oil came on a bed of roasted potatoes and was very delicious
The prosciutto appetizer was surprisingly just… shaved proscuitto on a plate, with no accompaniment or garnish. But it was good meat.
The yellowfin tuna was perfectly seared and salted. It came with sauteed vegetables that were buttery and delicious (broccoli rabbe, potato and peppers), and a decorative smear of aoili underneath provided a great additional flavor.
The garlic butter shrimp and linguini was perfectly buttery and garlicky, and the shrimp was plump. Huge portion as well.
For dessert, the tiramasu was delicious and a big portion.
If you’re looking for a semi-fancy dinner worth every penny, visit Street and Co next time you’re in Portland!
