Deviled eggs are a great appetizer full of great flavors, and they’re easy to make too!
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tbsp mustard (Grey Poupon or regular yellow mustard works)
- Ground paprika for garnish
- Sprinkle of garlic salt
Steps
- Cook the eggs:
- Place the eggs in a pot and pour cold water into the pot, covering them by at least an inch of water.
- Bring the pot to a boil.
- When the pot boils, cover it and turn off the heat.
- Let the pot sit for 12 minutes, and the eggs will cook.
- When 12 minutes are up, take the eggs out of the hot water and place them in a bowl of cold water. You can even add ice to the bowl. This stops the cooking process.
- When the eggs are done, remove their shells and place them on a cutting board. Cut them in half the long way. Scoop the cooked yolk out and place it in a mixing bowl.
- In the mixing bowl, add the mayo, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and garlic salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Once the mixture is done, spoon it back into the eggs so the eggs overflow a little.
- Sprinkle paprika on the eggs for a nice look and a slight kick.
Enjoy!
